Great entry for the 5-7-5 Nature writing prompt contest. Good syllable count and connection between lines that facilitates flow. Nice presentation. I like the pond nature theme. You got my vote.

It's funny...how a simple poem, written by a stranger, can fill you with a peace. The words, short, yet nevertheless deep, capture your readers attention. You grabbed my heart, and touched by soul with these words. This is a beautiful poem, and I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

This is lovely, and true. One of many examples of nature which can calm the spirit and heal the soul. My happy place at home is my hammock with mosquito netting canopied around it.
