Thank you for sharing all of this detail about the Bengal tiger in this 4-7-4 senryu. The red accents are very dramatic. I did not realize there are so many of the creatures in captivity. Sighs- Joan

Is that a Lotus Blossom? (Can you tell I have a brown thumb?)---if so what a clever juxtaposition of the sheer muscular strength of the tiger and the spiritual centeredness of the lotus...and yet both hold power and ignite the imagination! Nice!--Karenina

This is a great presentation, Gypsy. I like the color scheme, the image, the notes within the poem, and your great message. It all works together to create a great poem.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

This surprising piece is thought-provoking and skillfully-conceived. The reader--this one, anyway!--thought the tiger was about to have supper, but--NO!

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and it points out once again man's propensity for greed. It's sickening what we do to nature in the name of 'having a good and relaxing time'

A very well-written Senryu about the unique Bengal tigers. I love to look at them and if I would have an opportunity I would like to capture then on camera as my trophy.

It is an abomination when it comes to poaching! And it is especially heinous when it comes to profiting off their lovely skins. This poem is powerful in its simplicity. And I love the artwork. Thank you highlighting this issue that should not be ignored.

Nice going Gypsy. This is an exceptional little poem that you penned here and your presentation is absolutely exquisite. My first time reading a 4-7-4. Really very nice work.

They are such magnificent animals, it would be such a pity if they were to vanish from the earth completely, and they are the only ones either. Beautifully written, Gypsy, blessings, Roy
