I rarely give a six for short pieces, but this one is a winner to me. Perfect count for the 3-6-9 contest and the wording is so cute and perfectly done for descriptions

Debra,
Oh, my. After the last two hours of 'going down for a nap' with my grandgirls -- please let me switch with you?? I think I'd really rather spend the time with that adorable little pup right now. Arrrrrgghhhh...
This was a fun one. The syllable counts were all just right and I sure appreciate the smile!

Dog lovers will truly enjoy this very short poem describing that "look of love" one only gets from a dog. I can smell that fur and hear that wagging tail. Wish that pup in the photo were mine. Rod

A great photo of your spaniel. She's a doll, that Molly. A biscuit eater, aye? Not so awful. Sounds amazing.
Sending you my best today as always, and best wishes for the contest

What a divine little dog, they are the most appealing of "people" one can get, but like humans, you can't put them in a box, they are generally most salubrious as a person and member on one's household, beautifully written Debra, blessings Roy

well, you must have a very clean dog. Just kidding - well sorta.
Precious poem and picture - and I'm sure Miss Molly is precious, too.
I'm trying to think what a biscuit smells like. Can't but it's nice, I'm sure, and not doggy.
Neat poem. good luck in the contest.

Such a cutie - our faithful canines are always there for us - love that expression 'biscuit-scented fur' and that expression in the photo says it all

LOL! I never liked dog smell! I thought it was supposed to smell like that because he ATE those biscuits!
The poem is cute and works perfectly without the picture, too (for the wagging tail gives it away :). I like the wording 'devotion has' :).
Your love for your pup shines through - and the one on the Pic is quite a cutie! Good luck at the contest!

LOL! I don't like the smell of wet dog, it's vile.... but the warm biscuitiness when you bury your nose into Molly's fur is just a big inhale of comfort!
Thanks for your great feedback :)
Best wishes as always, Debra x
