This is a sweet but sad poem about growing old and loosing the ones you love. Life is a long game but we all meat the same end. Luckily when we make it to heaven we may see our lost friends again. Luckily you can speak with the friends on Fanstory. Tolkien once said about death, "One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass." I hope you begin to feel better God bless.

Hello Jay,
Aging isn't a lot of fun especially if you have health issues. But, as you said me must press on and keep our spirits as high as we can. Depression is one of my hardest things to fight.
Stay strong my friend and keep writing, that helps to keep our minds occupied. Take care...Bill

Hello my friend there are times I feel the same way the older ( mature) I get the tried I get.
But with the love I have for God I will ever quit
I try to keep myself busy around the house when I go out it only to the doctors I have two doctor I truly love and kid around with them making them laugh.
They say "I can't wait until my appointment come for those are the days they have joy and acting a fool
so This maybe why Gods keeping me around to bright laughter into other life.
Stay on praying ground.

I can understand the despondency of life in its present form! It gets very lonely if you are living alone. A "zoom" call or class is not really treasured human interaction.
