Such a lovely message, spiced up by lovely 's' and 'd' alliteration. The word that makes this piece truly fascinating is 'destiny' - as if those dreams are part of our destiny! Great little 2-6-2! Thank you for sharing and good luck at the contest!

This 2-4-2, Sweet Dreams, has the right set up and seems to promise that the best things that are hoped for you will eventually awaken to.

With all thw isolation that is needed in today's world, it's important to hold on to the dreams! Enjoyed.
I believe you have met the requirements for this contest: Write a 2-4-2 syllable poem. It has three lines. The first line has 2 syllables, the second one 4 syllables and the last line 2 syllables. The subject can be anything.
Best of luck with the "2-4-2 writing prompt" contest.

Hello, anonymous,
A fine entry for the 2-4-2 writing prompt contest. Good syllable count and connection between lines. Nice presentation. I like the destiny topic.

the juxtaposition of the second and third lines is interesting. 'Destiny' is often a motif that is characterized by flame and passion. Here, it is sleeping. To me, it says destiny will not come to life without you first waking it up. However, we are ordered to let destiny keep sleeping. The poem is really a bit dark with this consideration. I like it.

I think we need to keep dreaming to imagine our future with positivity.

A very well-written 2-4-2 poem about sweet dreams that we can continue having when we never stop our goals to find out destiny. Keep on pushing forward until you reach the goal.
