This is a great way to explain the muse of poets, and especially those who lean toward imaginative fantasy themes. Nice illustration choice and good job with "adding on" yet again.

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed this one, Janet -- it's been so long since I've had time to do anything but some shorties that I'm gonna have to 'make my fingers remember' when I have some time starting next week - lol!! ;) :) Thanx so much for those wonderful stars, my lady, and I hope you are doing well out there as well -- good to 'see' you again!! ;) Yvette

So beautiful, Yvette. I can see the explosive awakening of the pen to the call of fantasy in my minds eye. Sometimes it's just the act of picking up the pen, or opening up Word, that ignites the waiting essence and propels it into packets of words. Napalm love bombs.
Well done! A pleasure to read and to see.

Hey Yvette :)
I really like this.
Great personification of the poet's pen. I love the idea of it waking up and translating fantasy into the written word. Gorgeous!
Best wishes, Debra

Your three lines reflect the life of the poet. "Setting vision free" is a perfect last line, for that is what the poet does. Your little poem explains the writing process.

Isn't it a grand feeling when 'the call' allows you to fit together the perfect phrase or to stumble upon the precise word.

Enjoyed.

The picture was a great additon to your poem.

I love that feeling when you get an idea and the imagination just flows. It's what I most enjoy about writing, when you become so immersed in the world you're creating. Another excellent piece, Yvette. I enjoyed reading it.
