Hi Iza. This is by far your best wisdom post so far in my opinion. You have done remarkably well with using the English in telling your feelings on the circles. And I see a lot of truth in your theory, my friend. Hang in there. You will see ElDorado yet. : ) Bob

Nice comment on relationships and how we move through them and between them. Also trust and how it can take advantage of us, and strip us of our affiliation with others. I like the circle motif, its kind of surreal and dreamlike, and then you throw Sysyphus in there and we are transported to classic philosophy. estory

Hi Liz. Excellent story, an interesting analogy. I was at Save On yesterday with these safe distance circles on the floor for the cashier line. Of course, I immediately thought of your writing. Your circles are a bit more dramatic, like trapped in a tiresome life, or not taking that big step and missing opportunity. I notice your'e from Edmonton. I Lived in Calgary for 10 years, now retired in Oliver BC. I moved up here from Texas. No regrets, a nice circle to land on. Good to have a fellow canuck in the mix. Cheers. Brad

This story has a bittersweet taste to it. Although you compare yourself to Sisyphus, which is not favorable, there does seem to be a silver lining to the cloud (or circle, if you will.)

I very much enjoyed the first two paragraphs of this three part essay, but I found the last one confusing. I don't understand your mistake and disillusionment. I don't know whether the problem here is me or you.

I like your reflection. Yes, at times, it's like we are stuck in circles. But even now while trapped in our earthly circles, we also have a bit of Heaven (El Dorado) inside because of Jesus.

word order issues:
some of us don't get ever ( some of us don't ever get)
trusting my human fellow. (trusting my fellow human)

Hi Helen, thank you so much for the corrections, sometimes I feel a word sounds backwards, but I am ending using it anyway:)
reply by lyenochka on 03-Aug-2020
It's okay. English doesn't have inflection (verb and noun changes for grammar) so the word order plays a bigger role. 😊💖
