I am so glad you promoted this! These three fundamentals are the bedrock of faith! I lean on pillar three a lot... For I fall short, do not present with grace. I sin, as we all do. I rest as well. God is never waiting for me to fail. When I do, He grants me unconditional love...that brings me peace (and rest)---and always I end my morning prayers with a simple question. "Anything I can do for You today, Lord?"--- I don't know what won ...but this is a winner on a whole other spiritual level! Have I fanned you? If not, I am about to!--Karenina

I like this poem! It has commitment in faith, a steady even rhythm and pleasant understated rhyme of the second and fourth lines of each stanza.
I wish you had been able to enter the contest, but certainly know how it is to miss a deadline due to promotion issues. :-)

I like this poem! It has commitment in faith, a steady even rhythm and pleasant understated rhyme of the second and fourth lines of each stanza.

It's funny, at one time I entered all the site rhyming contests, faith ones too, but never even placed in any, won many people sponsored ones, but never site ones, I think they don't like "out there" religious ones, (Just being a cynic, God is still good) whereas this is a beauty, so I'm going to give you a tick of approval for your obvious God-given skill, and only a slight slip into vanity.
