A good 5-7-5 because for the content. Sometimes we feel so terribly hurt by somebody (it always hurts the most when it comes from a loved one) that it really is difficult to forgive. Still, it is the only way to stop the churning, the pain, the running sore. It is true what this poem says: it still might leave a scar, but it is a healed wound, and you can go on with your life. Forgive!

I like this 575 poem on forgiveness. It is so very true. I think that we must forgive and when we do, those wounds are closed. You are right that they develop into scars that are lasting, but they will at least be healed. Well done. I like this poem. Hugs! -January L. :)
