Yes, death is only of the body dying. The soul never dies. Death is just the transferring of the home of the soul from an earthly existence back into eternity.

Your poem is wonderful Roy Owen!
Those who believe in Him will not experience death. No, they may leave this earth, but they are only going to their true home. I love your poem for several reasons: It's true, it's comforting, it's shining light on His promise to us believers.
You also did quite good on picking Bible verses to go with this.
