Nice and humorous poem, Patricia! I can see you on your log, with the dog at your side when you are eating a hotdog. Oh, that must have frightened the two of you, your dog and yourself, when that bulfrog jumped out of the pond. Good you awoke.

What a cute poem, a fun read for sure. Your great word choice, description created a very imaginative story. I could see it easily happen. Your poem rhymes perfectly. Around here it's usually the cat knocking something over and the dog springs to his feet growl and, runs. I really think they do it on purpose, mischievous little things.
