Hello again
With this one coupled with your authors notes, I am awarding a fifth star. Spring indeed replaces the gloom of winter. Your poem is spot on

This is again a very lovely poem - it seems that with a few adjustments, you will have a wonderful book. This sentence simply needs two words rearranged - "Dark must go!" Although I don't quite understand "Let new sun grow lights..." I am presuming you mean beautiful, light-colored flowers.

Bye, spring! Let new sun
grow lights, shine hopes, glow minds, make
us wise. Must dark go!

Well Done ~ Very Nice. Thank your for your creation.

Well, why in the world would you want spring to go away? (It just got here, right? LOL) Unless, of course, we're anticipating the heat of the summer, when it's best to visit beaches and swimming pools without the slightest chill in the air. :)

Tis hard to review a work when the author does it for me.The advent of spring around the ancient world was celebrated especially north of the 50th parallel in Europe. Spring analogies abound, for ex; om the spring time of our lives, or as a verb..Hope springs eternal. A good effort, esoteric and lyrical.

Good use of asyndeton and exclamatory cesura. good connotative language indicating new life and growth. Good assonance with long "o" sounds. interesting usage of hyperbation, though the final inverted phrase seems forced and I do not see any pronounced literary tactic for the usage of such device, unless of course you are seeking to turn an oxymoronic phase to juxtapose the welcoming nature of spring. good light imagery. good use of synesthesia with "Grow lights." The poem has a sort of stream of conscious vibe. overall good work.

sorry dude, this is the first two I've given, mainly because I really cannot understand why you are posting this so high when you have , well, some better material. the sun grow lights? and again w/the choppy style. and ending w/ must dark go? and why set out to conquer the first page?

After saying bye to spring, he makes it clear he decries the arrival of spring, preferring everything to go dark. Some new sun will grow lights, hopes, minds, etc. Not my view, but at least I could get some semblance understanding from this one.

This is a delightful poem. The word choice is strong. I like the mental images this poem inspires. The theme is clear. Barbara

The dark of winter must go and be replaced with the rebirth of spring. Light is quite transforming as the poet so aptly wrote "...Let new sun
grow lights, shine hopes, glow minds..."

Regards.
