Thank you for sharing your poem and information with everyone. It is a dreadful situation that occurs way too often and is realistically right under our noses. My family has supported this cause through OUR ( Operation Underground Railroad) here in Utah.

Your 5-7-5 works on another level. I live in a Chicago where at least one "sweet innocent child" Is shot and killed--"gone in the dead of night"-- every weekend this summer. Rod

Hmm, not sure. This is a hard topic to speak of and to see it in a contest entry. I don't know. It as a whole reads as a public service announcement. Don't get me wrong. Human trafficking is horrible and needs to stopped. I wish there was some answer to keep it from happening, but how do we ultimately defeat evil. Good on you to put the hot line number in your notes. One never knows who sees a post or saw something around the world. Perhaps they'll remember this post and make a call or say something.
