Great job, Ms Shana. The emotions between your characters seemed real and heartfelt. You really had me feeling sorry for Abbey's dad.
The scene with Steven and Abbey was exciting yet heartbreaking. Oh course after reading your next book, I know Abbey does live but gets captured. Your writing is definitely intense.

This is a well written chapter. I can't imagine having to hear a loved one being torture. That is torture in itself and you express that well here. I'm not sure about the German accent written out. You might want to just write it normally and state there is a strong German accent. It seems to take away from the seriousness of the work. But that may just be me. But otherwise this was amazing. Easy to read. Tense and difficult in places because you are worried. Very well done.

Your feedback brightened my day! Sometimes writing such scenes as these can be tricky. I was hoping I would not go overboard and give the reader the emotions from my characters.
Also, thanks for the advice about the German accent. My editor said the same thing. He told me to keep it simple so the reader doesn't seem confused.

You did it again, left us hanging. You're getting really good at that, you know, lol. I do hope Abbey finds her father in time and she's not buried alive. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting. It was very emotional, tear-jerking in the beginning, suspenseful at the end. Like always, I look forward to reading more. I do have a question, shape shifters can only be killed if they're in their nonhuman form, right, or is it only in human form?

So happy you enjoyed the heartfelt scenes. I wanted to reader to see the bond between daughter and father.
I'm so glad you like those cliffhangers. I like to do that with most of the chapters since my story weaves in and out of characters and their storyline. I pray that keeps the reader interested in continuing the story.
With my story, the Breedline can die either in their human or supernatural form. I think you can create your own world and species. Mine only die from a silver bullet to the brain. And some others are incapable of being killed. I like to make up my own rules. LOL!

First of all, great pictures. I love the way you put humanity into creatures that are far from human when they transform. You also build excitement with each line. It certainly keeps me wanting to read on. Very much like how you ended the chapter-a real page turner.

I was hoping you would enjoy this one. I think the scenes are more for women to understand due to the heartfelt drama. I wanted to give the reader more this time, so I added more of the chapter.
