This poem makes me think of a number of hymns that refer to Jesus as the Rock. Your poem is very well-worded and inspirational. He can calm our storms if we ask, believing.

Thank you for sharing this inspiring poem of faith with us today, Pat. I enjoyed it a great deal, and also found the image of "the Rock" to be a comfort as well as a clever metaphor. This should've been entered in the Faith poetry contest!

This is a lovely spiritual poem of faith. When we know who our Rock is, where He is, and His great power, we find peace and rest no matter what comes our way. Well done!
