This poem makes me think of a number of hymns that refer to Jesus as the Rock. Your poem is very well-worded and inspirational. He can calm our storms if we ask, believing.

Thank you for sharing this inspiring poem of faith with us today, Pat. I enjoyed it a great deal, and also found the image of "the Rock" to be a comfort as well as a clever metaphor. This should've been entered in the Faith poetry contest!
