Oh, my-a lover of blue in all it's hues and symbolic meanings-memories within a pristine paradise-ice berg blues: deep dense the depth immense-I'll drown in your saphire eyes . THese are my favorite lines . Very arresting on a hot summer day of reviewing.

I knew this was you the moment I finished reading the first stanza. Girl, you definitely have a style. This is exquisite. So many excellent phrases. My favorite is "pristine paradise". Under the arctic water surveying an iceberg. Also like "indigo dreams". Your color words are not forced into this piece at all. It reads beautifully. So very well done. I love when you write like this. Kiss Kiss

I'm so pleased you found this worthy of your 6! Thanks for your reinforcing comments. I was going to write "polar paradise" but "pristine" caught more nuance. I've been finding it hard to get into my poetic flow recently, with so many kitten interruptions. I really should have gotten an older, more sedate cat, but this one is so highly energized she's bouncing all over me and the computer and the mantle piece and the kitchen sink. She has to stay indoors til she's had her shots and her wound from the spaying operation has healed properly, so she's quivering with enthusiasm to wreak havoc in many laughable ways.
Hopefully i'll be back into writing mood mode when she calms down a bit. I've got baby brain.
