I like the picture you chose to go with your poem. Your poem keeps an upbeat theme with a charming rhyme. It's nice how you keep positive in the face of a pandemic, with the simple wishing of spending some time on your porch with friends. Good poem!

Salt Lake City Utah.... my son goes to the University of Utah. Maybe you two have unknowingly stood in the same checkout line at the same time at the supermarket. Could be... Covid was cause of death for my aunt and we've had three families in my group (two who are in quarantine now, and one family just got out of quarantine) kindest regards and best wishes. Robert

Aw, this poems resonates deeply with me. I, and many others, can relate to this poem.
I have not seen my friends since March. Of course, I talk with them on the phone, but it is not the same as seeing them.
Perhaps I should social distance with them on the porch as your poem eloquently expresses.
