This Kyrielle had presence of mind to succeed or be left in the dust of those whom attain.
...
It read and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
The Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional.
While Descriptive Measures Alingned perfectly.

Nice Kyrielle poem. I like it because you tell the truth: the ladder of success is narrow. But I'm also a believer that it's the journey, not the goal that is the most important aspect of life and success. If you said this in your poem, I'm sorry I missed it. I am still on that journey. And my goal is to effect small changes in the world around me.
Good luck in all your writing contests,
Best wishes,
Cindy

Thank you so much, Cindy, for a very thoughtful review. I myself prefer the terraces image, which evokes a much pleasanter journey with a broader definition of success. Thanks for your thoughts and good wishes.

You?re welcome, Mary.

I like the title of this poem. The author's words are interesting,
descriptive and creative. I thought about success and how it depends
on so many factors. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is
perfect and compliments this poem. Have a great weekend!

Blessings Mary, your poem reminded me of the strait gate and narrow way of Matthew 7:14 that leads to life, and few are they that find it. Your poem rhmes beautifully and flows smoothly, just like that ladder of succes.

This kyrielle, The Narrow Ladder of Success, has the proper formatting and points to the way that must be trod in order to keep from stumbling.

So many things--good and bad--happen to those climbing that ladder. Many ruin lives and friendships stepping on one another while ascending!
Your poem is excellent--skillfully-written and thought-provoking.

A very well-written Kyrielle about the narrow ladder to success where only one can go at a time. It is lonely climb that have great rewards when we reach the top.

I think that as you've so eloquently stated, success is acquired that will last by the method you've stated. Rung by rung. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

A perfect kyrielle. The form, the rhyme scheme, the repetition, the syllable count. They are all flawless.
The theme: an interesting one. The narrow ladder of success. It makes the reader think (which, according to me, is something a poet should always aim for, weather it is amusement, sadness, irritation, thoughtfulness, anything that provokes the reader's attention.)
In this poem it made me wonder whereabouts I should place myself on this ladder of success. After many years of writing, I know or I hope to have reached a certain level of success. I can only measure it on the reactions I get when I post my poems or stories. But still...what exactly is success? I would like to have some books published, poetry and stories, but I don't feel the energy to really pursue the endeavour of finding a publisher, do the publicity and promotion, feeling the anxiety of possible failure, etc.
So it keeps me stuck somewhere halfway on your ladder of success.
Thanks for this poem. A good entry.

Hi there,
one rung at a time is how most people climb ladders, but steps and stairs can be done 2 or 3 at a time. My neighbour has long legs for clinbing, but he's still pretty stupid.
