I liked the last line especially. "Leaving pictures on the wall." The form seems pretty adventurous. You gave us a lot in 6 lines. This is a nice nature and human nature poem. Good luck with the contest.

I can imagine the sun setting with the sounds of birds fading into the distance as I sit by a quiet lake. There is a peace in Mother Nature that soothes the soul.
