Hello, Roy - just popped in for a while -
a well-written poem with a good flow
to rhythm and rhyme -

We are all God's creation and should live in peace and harmony.
If only......

Once again, your faith shines through, and once again you deliver.
Regardless of stature wealth and size, we enter or exit the same door.
Nicely done.
Have a good day Roy.
My very best.

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This has given me hope many times in the past the feeling that Jesus has me by the hand...this poem is a beautiful and well rhymed expression of that. Well done on a superb poem as always my friend kindest regards Meia x

Another beautiful poem expressing your faith, Roy.

And your answer to the question is it by luck or stealth that some are poor and some have wealth is answered with the sun shines on all the same.

A fine example of your great skill with rhymed and metred verse.

Always a pleasure to read and review your work. :))

I would dare to review the #1 poet in the rankings? I'm only doing this in hopes that my efforts will improve. Glad that your poetry is now out of seclusion to inspire others.
I'm happy to find someone who shares my belief in a God of creation and Christ as a Redeemer. The world seems to be in such disarray these days, and a message like "Some are rich, some are poor..." has the potential to get more people back on the same page. Obviously, all of the technical parts of rhyme, meter, imagery are superb. Thanks for sharing.

It's an interesting look into this question of how to live your life; through charity, or to enrich yourself. Jesus said once, "To whom much is given, much is required." When God blesses you, he expects you to share those blessings. That's what's supposed to make the world go round. estory

Who knows why some people turn to God and others turn away? I think circumstances play a part in how a person perceives God. If you are rich or poor as you say, can cause exultation or despair. God could be praised for one and cursed for the other. You are a wonderful poet who never ceases to make me think. Thanks for sharing.

good points to make. Choice, change, coincidence, all need apply for our journey in life. Sometimes the fallen are just too far down to reach, even within themselves they know they have lost the will to carry on.

I usually don't like religious poetry as I am not a believer but this one was well done. I like the control over the form, the rhyme work without being forced, and the thoughts are dark and profound. i would have written it a bit differently looking at why some are poor and some are rich. and wondering if it is all God's will
