I think there was a lines prompt, but no worries, you prompted yourself. I do that a lot. I notice lines even though I am near blind. It keeps me from falling and helps me to know where I am. A fine observational poem. Sending you my best today as always,

Sally, this was a writing prompt for the Free Versers group. When I began writing this poem, I quickly realized that I could go on forever about lines! I figured these 27 lines were enough. Linda
