Yes. And one can grow out of the proclivity to fear being deceived, or to be deceived, by the constant knowing of the truth. I John, "but you have an unction from the Holy One, and know all things." Let it be!
Well done!

Desires, temptations, etc., are tools that satan uses to exploit mankind; only the weak among us fall prey to it; as long as one wears the apparel of God-consciousness, there's no worries. I thank you for sharing my friend.

This is a warning or admonition style poem. I rather like the line: Watch out with whom you fly. It reminds me that the birds in the neighborhood have had to be more cautious recently due to the presence of an infrequent visitor, a hawk or peregrine falcon. No bird is safe when he/she is around! So that is a good analogy for Satan, as suggested here as well. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Satan got Eve by adding one little word , "not". You shall not surely die. And you are right that Eve took us all with her. People never seem to get the power of consequences.

Satan is incredibly sneaky and we need to very careful who we get our information from. Only God can truly guide us. Our freedom allows us to pray, ourselves, or God's guidance. Again, thank you for sharing.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. That has always been my rule to live by. They will sell you anything if you think otherwise. Satan has a silver tongue and is a very clever salesman. He knows all the weaknesses of mankind and loves to play his games. Well done, Roy. Nancy:)

That's the weakness of humans. We fall for false promises if they are attractive enough, even if, in the back of our heads and minds we know the promises might be untrue and false, we still surrender to them. Then, when the sad consequences become manifest, we repent and confess and regret. Thank God for his infinite love for us, for He will pardon, He will set us free, so we can redeem our lives.

Comment from Raffaelina Lowcock
The ways of Satan are so well camouflaged that it is very difficult to discern truth from lie. We are living in a world right this very moment that takes its energy from lies. The media has 24/7 to fill with reporting and they spin all day to fill those hours. The truth wouldn't fill 1/2 a day. So, your poem is very apt in its premise that lies are prevalent.

This is so true my friend :)
It's sad how Eve was so easily deceived. It just shows you how vulnerable we are as humans. Satan seems to have his hooks in several people in this world, telling them lies and drawing them away from God. I pray everyday that they will open their eyes and see the truth.
Thanks for sharing, Roy :)
Always your fan,
Shana :)
