This lovely, vividly descriptive poem creates a calm, peaceful scene that makes me smile. This makes me think of John, chapter 10, one of my favorite Bible passage (Jesus, the Good Shepherd).

Nice job with the alliterations in this poem, I liked the echoing effects of all those 'e' sounds in the opening and the 'h' sounds towards the end. It also has a nice oriental feel to it. estory

A very well-written Sijo about the shepherd looking after his sheep and never leads them into harm's way. He let them eat from the greenest grass to feed them well until they return safely home.
