How fun!! My husband actually had a 'pet duck' when he was a little boy - lol! ;) The second line there seems to be missing a word... perhaps a rephrase...? This definitely a fun offering for the contest here -- best of luck to you at the polls! ;)

This is a cute picture and a cute poem. However, there is something wrong with the second line. If you fix it, I am sure you will get five starts, so hurry. Good luck.
