This is a great poem. This was a very difficult poetic form. I couldn't get this one to work so didn't even do it. Good luck with the contest. I hope this one wins.

Hello,
I pray your day is going well. I know nothing about cattle ranching. This is my first critique of a western poem and this is a good one. You met the poem's requirement. I like the photo your used of the three black and white cows. The life of ranching has to be an interesting one from day to day. Such as, being around cows all day long and ensuring they are well taken care of through some crazy weather. Cow ranching does well, I believe in good economic times, and bad in recessions. I guess, there's plenty leading and feeding of the cattle stock. Your are correct, ranching is a cyclic business. I enjoyed reading your poem. Well-done.

Joyce I thank you so much for your kind thoughts. This poetic form is new to me and I admit the style is far from my free verse comfort zone. However, I do these contests to expand my knowledge of all the exquisite styles that makes poetry so ever lastingly unique.

A very well-written Tyburn poem about life ranching where there us constant leading to proceed and the feeding nevef seem to end with live stock on hand means a lot of work.

Hello, anonymous,

A fine entry for the Tyburn Poetry writing prompt contest. Good syllable count and tyburn form. Sounds like life at the farm.

Oh, what a delightful Tyburn for the contest! Your visuals amazing - I can just picture these cows on a farm somewhere in a rural Pennsylvania (lol) grazing. Excellent picture and artistic presentation. I wish you a lot of luck in the contest.

I don't believe I have ever come across this format for a poem before, author. Called a Tyburn, eh?

It certainly is different from start to finish.
Here's wishing you the best of luck with it in the contest. : ) Bob

I recall writing these...guess they fell off my form's list! Not my favorite form as the flow is necessarily broken and list like...you pull this out with your final two lines in which you incorporate your "list" without seeming forced at all. Good luck int he contest!--Karenina
