What an interesting form of poetry! I really liked the rhyming words used and when they appear for the second time in the couplet, they work very well and make sense of farm life. Very cool write.

A thoughtful poem pretty much summing up the main agenda of farm life.

I like this poem written for the UNI contest where are you deal with the topic of the farm life. Sounds like you may be in a generational family farm that knows the ins and outs of raising and selling livestock.

In Ireland, farming is quite common here and you often see fields wherever you drive. I did not know there was so much put into it though. You have described it well in an entertaining way!

bichon,I was born and lived six years in Ireland (Daragh, or Glenroe, a parish, in the barony of Costlea, county of Limerick before moving to the states.
