Thank you Aussie for you sharing your free style poem with your very interesting facts about the Humpback whales.
Smiles, which Stan and I viewed the Humpback whales
when we were on a cruise, is a lasting memory.

A very well-written poem about the wonder of watching the whales nearby in the ocean when they come from the cold beaters of the Antarctic to the warmer waters to birth their newborn.

Love your whale watching poem, you capture the spirit of the whales with the breeching and giving birth to calves. I have seen mothers and calves numerous times while whale watching, it is such a great sight to see. Excellent poetic from that takes the reader to another place out in nature.

Hello lindy-Louie, Thanks for reading, glad you enjoyed. I don't believe the world will ever be the way it was. We have to learn to live with this, not like Trump! I feel sorry that you have an ignorant, selfish dickhead running the country. He won't be elected again. People come first, not him! Much love, Kace.

This is an amazing situation being shared in a poetic writing. You are so fortunate to be able to witness those fantastic creatures nearby in their natural habitat. What an adventure to actually be in the water with them...and very dangerous, of course, because the ocean is a powerful environment and unpredictable. Love your posting, Kay!!

Thank you Mrs Tangle. Apparently, the whales are most gentle around humans, they are very intelligent. The massive whale shark allowed divers to ride it's back. Bless you, love K xx

Wev been watching a TV programme on exactly this about the currents that draw nutrients from the Antarctic and the migration of the humpbacks from there to here and back again. Beautifully written and composed in articulate verse dear Kay, well done, blessings Roy

Hello friend Roy, Yes, I saw that doco, very interesting how nature works together with the path of the whales and the baby talking to it's mother. Blessings, Kay. xx

They would be an amazing sight, Aussie. You'll have to watch for me and write another poem or two about the experience since I won't be there along with thousands of others. I enjoyed reading and learning more about these majestic animals. I like the verse about the calf whispering in mother's ears. Whales are so much smarter than what we give them credit. Your image is a perfect match. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello up there! Hope you are well? Yes, whales and dolphins are smarter than man. I saw a doco on dolphins; replying to questions asked on a reading board, how smart is that? Love, Kay. xx

I imagine watching the whales jumping out of the water is a wonderful sight. I can't imagine swimming with these amazing giants, but I'm sure it is exciting. I hope the locals are enjoying themselves.

Hello W.J, Thanks for reading. The whales and dolphins are smarter than man and placid towards us. It's the size that frightens us. Blessings, Kay.
