This would a killer horror short. And I'm glad I'm not eating anything right now because this sure made my stomach churn. His friends' will definitely taste the difference. Thanks for sharing this!!

Sometimes I write light and fluffy and sometimes I just go for the throat (no pun intended). Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my little super short, AJ. Have a great day.

Yikes, this is a gory 75 word flash fiction. A bit like Sweeny Todd. I do not know, but something makes me believe the smell would not be appetizing.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my little short piece, Margaret. And I agree with you - I kind of doubt that the smell would be appetizing.

This is awesome. I did not expect this at all. But isn't this every disgruntled employees fantasy. Maybe not, I'd blow the knee caps off of my idiot boss. Did I say that out loud. Anyway excellent entry for the contest, Sherry. Good luck.

Hi Sherry. LOL Shades of the movie, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" eh?

That was for homemade chili. You have a great flash fiction here. Can I suggest one change for more clarity and impact?

"Soon his friends would be feasting on meat like none they had ever eaten."

Try: Soon, he and his friends would feast on a most delicious and rare barbecue.

(add or subtract a word to make the 75 of course...I did not count yet. Good luck with it, Sherry. :) Bob

Thanks, Bob, for taking the time to read and review my little horror short. I was actually thinking more Silence of the Lambs than Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but that works too. And I think I will go back in and reword that sentence, not quite like you suggested, but when I read over it, you were right; it needed some tweeking. Thank you for the suggestion. Have a great day.

As if this year's fourth of July barbecues weren't anemic already. Cannibalism? Yum. Evidently Brandon had something against his guests, too. Mmmm, this burger is great! What did you put in it?

Best of luck, sherrygreywolf.

Peace, Lee

LOL! Thanks, Lee, for taking the time to read and comment on my little short horror piece. But then again, maybe his "friends" are actually fellow employees who hate the boss, too. Just sayin' Have a great day, Lee.

Oh, no cannibals in disguise, not funny at all. No matter how much I like barbeque I will not try something like this. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Deb told me it was too gruesome, but gruesome was all that was coming to mind tonight - probably because I watched Silence of the Lambs earlier today. Oh well. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, Iza!

Remind me not to piss you off when we work together! Of course, you're usually the 'boss' in those situations, so I guess YOU better not piss ME off. lol
