There is an oratorical sort of boom in your lines.

I like the yearning beckoning of the first line : O rain come singing ... and

the simplicity of ... life goes on.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The other side of brilliant! You say it all, my friend and in no more than 17 syllables. It boggles my mind.
You are a master wordsmith and I can only learn from you.
You're a super star
Well done
Cool bananas and warm regards

O rain come singing

bloom new lives, endow death sweep

in hope, life goes on

Yes, short and sweet, but it says it all.

This is an interesting piece, but again, I don't get it. If it helps, I'm not really a poet, so the flaw is definitely mine. Good luck.

Indeed rain does bring loads of hope- I'm glad someone else agrees. Your poem is in many ways bright and uplifting. You have written so many great ones. Just wondering why you don't seem to reply to reviews- this is how we make friends here.

Alcreator,

Your topic for the 5/7/5 is and excellent way to use your seventeen syllables. Rain is the nectar of life. Without it all would perish.

New life comes as a result of the rain, and it overcomes the death of many beings on this planet.

This poem talks about the life and death that rain can bring. I like the dichotomy presented. The first word should either be Oh or O'

again, I like your willingness to experiment. short forms of poetry demand clarity/precision. I really do not understand " endow death sweep" unless you mean that rain brings death and sweeps in hope ( i.e. life-giving water). however, water - unless a raging flood- is pretty-much always the symbol of life.

Another good entry with good message. Heavy rains can bring life or take it. Like fire can take life and the ashes can fertilize for new life. All elements serve purpose and water plays a very important part in life. I say well done.

Well structured work in muse and in delivery. This is a complete circle of man and humanity. Birth, death, continuity. Nicely done.
