Oooooh your colours choices are rich and enticing in this one. As was African Violets which very much attracted my attention from the new posts feed.

This is a lovely piece. It leaves me feeling as if the sun was shining on me. I do not have a green thumb and have managed in my day to kill all plants. I even lost my air firn.

Very nice. You explain the Haiku with precision (particularly the count)--and provide lots of links and examples, which is helpful and considerate. I couldn't help but think how perfect that photo was...perhaps the flowers had benefit of the green thumb and the woman had been (perhaps?) under someone's thumb at one time.--Karenina

Thank you, Karenina, I appreciate your review and kind words. I liked the picture and it has African violets but you are right, the picture is not identical to the words. Hopefully you could imagine the picture in your mind.... that is the point of haiku and senryu.
