This is an excellent entry for the 5-7-5 poem contest. It tells a full interesting story in the seventeen syllales, with a main thread that is temporal, and movement presented in an unusual fashion. I really enjoyed it.

How quickly they rise ... and fall (and destined to be forgotten). I rarely listen to more than 30 minutes of news these days - I read the headlines and have lost my desire for 24/7. I prefer documentaries these days.

This little piece illustrates the rapid turnaround of media trends in today's society. There's an obsession with a story for a couple of weeks or months and then its all forgotten in the next trend. What i liked about your construction was using the short three line form to create an effect like the turning pages of a newspaper. estory
