A mother's breast...

Hello, Roy,
I love the presentation and picture. Your grandkids are adorable.
I like the meter and rhyme scheme. It has a very nice rhythm.
I know what you mean and although I don't agree completely I do see your point. I didn't have a choice and I did what I thought was best at the time. I didn't have good luck with husband. Looking back, I do wish I had more time with my kids.
Well done.

A very well-written poem about a mother's andnc wife's special told that are often discarded as lower class while the husband feels he is higher and mightier and needs all the honor himself.

It is a dilemma these days. I think it's fine for women to find success in the private or government sector, but there's been a price. Men are abdicating their responsibilities and the children are growing up as wards of the schools. From what I've read, children of the rich and privileged in the past were sent off to boarding schools and weren't around home very often. The schools have become the parents. Husband and wife should be in it together, and men shouldn't expect the burden of taking care of the home and children to fall entirely on the woman. I think more and more men are realizing this. Sorry for the ramble, but your poem is thought provoking. judi

Love that sweet picture of your grandchildren. Yes, you're right that the Lord has a perfect plan for that intricate balance between men and women and their roles in the home. It's just the Fall has messed things up.

The poem is wonderful. And this line:
life will come by God's sweet kiss.
WOWZA! So gorgeous!
The photo is excellent and adds to the poem. Your author notes, also, a full of truth.
Not sure why some women want to walk away from a role they consider 'less'. We need to do what God calls us to do. For my youngest girl, that meant the medical arena. And babies, later on. He gifts us each with our own brand of plow and then gives us a field. :)
Thank you, Roy, and blessings.

What could be more rewarding than to be mother to these gorgeous little people He sends us, I loved being a dad, I love being a grandfather, this is God's most important mission, as in Abraham and sarah. Thanks dear girl, blessings Roy

Roy my friend, a wife is a man's world; I appreciate your wonderful sentiments reflected in yet another spritual poem; always a delight to read you my friend; thank you.
P.S: A wife fills all the emptiness in the heart.

It sounds here like you are very appreciative of a woman's touch in the home Roy and the nurturing she brings to the family, and this does not make any man a yes man, it sounds like you have a wonderful extended family to enjoy Roy, love Dolly x

This treatise about women is very laudable. There is a great role for women to experience throughout their lifetime. Some will find it and fit nicely into it and others will shun it. Happy are those who find it.
Your author's notes are so informative and interesting and the picture of your grandchildren adds a dimension to the poem.

I agree that men and women work best when they make a partnership of their companionships and bring their best talents to help and complement each other. Neither is better and both are needed. Love the picture of the cousins. They look harmonious.

I love the artwork... best ever! Your grandchildren are adorable.
I believe God meant for us to have roles. Now that we changed them, everything is upside down. Nothing is traditional anymore. It's the fault of both men and women. A lot of men don't want the responsibility of taking care of the family. They leave their wife with the role of both parents as some women do with men. That destroys a household and the function of Mom and Dad. It's sad and I believe a lot of it comes from not having faith. If God is not in our home, we are lost as families.
Thank you for sharing Roy :)
Always your fan,
Shana :)

Yes, your absolutely right, both genders have abdicated their gifted roles, that's why we need balance restored , wealth and authority are not important. A nation is built on generations, they've lost that. Blessings Roy
