You certainly picked and entertaining topic
to write about. The information held my attention
to the end, as it had a lot of info I did not know.
Thanks a bunch for sharing.

Hi Jeffrey, thank you for your nice review and reading this letter O. I found them very interesting as I researched them. They have some lovely ways, and can do things I'd never have thought possible. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I once watched an octopus documentary on TV and have been a great fan of them every since. I can imagine how much your family is enjoying this animal series, Sandra. It is both informative and delightful as it provides a lot of interesting information about some amazing creatures.

What a nice thing to say, Spangle, thank you so much. The octopus is a fascinating creature, I loved how he could change shape to fool his predators, and also how he likes to decorate his home. They really are intelligent. Thanks my friend, and have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra. I've never had a fascination for an octopus or squid. Some animals are even too ugly to eat. I don't like the word octopus because it has three plural versions. I only use words that have one plural. ð???
You've included some very interesting information that I didn't know about them but they're still ugly. ð???

Robert

LOL, perhaps him mother loved him? No, I doubt she even knew him. I was surprised about the pluralisation of the octopus. I'm sticking with the common one, everyone understands that. I could never fancy eating one, I'm really fussy on what fish I eat, and those are definitely a no-go. Thanks for reading it, anyway, they are quite interesting, in a strange sort of way. :)) Have a wonderful day! :)0 Sandra xx

Hi Sandra. Love this. Very well written, illustrated and informative. Did your husband do the drawing? This is a fine addition to your book. Good job. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, thank you for reading about the octopus. Amazing creatures, aren't they? Yes, Graham has done all the top illustrations, he likes helping me and has done a few for my children's collection of fairy story books. He always puts a smile on the animals faces! LOL. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Wish I had a seven for this one. I never knew of their toxic nature. Many Islanders eat them and Japan does as well. Must be of another variety. You spent much time and research on this.
Thank you. I know he will appreciate it one day.

Thank you so very much for the lovely six and terrific review, dear Chuck. There was a video about a Japanese lady showing everyone how she would eat a live octopus, it was awful. The octopus didn't like the idea of being eaten, and he put his suckers on her face and she was crying, and trying to get it off. What a stupid thing to do? I know they have some peculiar tastes in food, but a live octopus?? Hmm. Thank you again, my dear friend. Sending you a hug. :)) Sandra xxx

You have done such a fabulous job with your research on this one. I thought I knew the octopus but I didn't realize the differences between it and the squid (which I know has ten legs). Koreans call it the "literary fish." Perhaps because it was due to squirting ink or maybe because it's so intelligent!

I love the thought of them being called 'literary fish' because the squirt blue ink, Lol.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful review, and for the six stars, Helen, I really appreciate them both. The octopus surprised me as well, they are such interesting creatures, and there was a lot more I could have mentioned, but it would have gone on too long. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

What a marvelously written episode Sandra what a an adaptible creature this octopus is, it's survival skills are manifold and very versatile, didn't know about the venom though, the blue ringed variety is well known here. Beautifully written dear girl, blessings Roy

Thank you so much for another of your delightful reviews, Roy. I have to admit, there was a lot I didn't know until I researched them, they are truly fascinating. I hope you are careful when you go into the sea with those blue ringed octopuses around!! Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I did not see a thing to change and love this chapter as much as the other chapters. I am awaiting the P chapter and cannot wait for the book. As always, very nicely done.
