Just double back on this piece (as a whole) and showed it to my 7 year old daughter and she thought it was very neat :) Keep up the great work on this informative and fun kids book. Later daze.

Thank you so much for going back to the octopus, I really like getting feed back from children. I'm never sure what age to put down when I'm asked. Tell here, thank you for thinking it is neat! Lol we were doing science experiments yesterday and we caught a spider, she's fine with them... so long as they're behind glass XD

Once again this book has given me new eyes. It seems that these sea creatures, which have their own unique beauty in the many color variations they come in, are a lot more complex than I once thought.

The video made me think of that movie The Blob. Your verse ends with a shocking fact and delightul exclamation that children would enjoy. A well-organized list of facts with supporting pictures. My favorite line:They enjoy decorating their homes with whatever shells and weeds they can find. It makes this ugly and dangerous creature sound almost human.

WOW! Great poem, great video, and, as always, tons of information that I didn't know about before. I've never been a fan of octopuses, but knowing what I know now, I don't like them at all. I decided never to go swimming in the sea after watching 'Jaws' all those years ago. Now, I won't even walk on the beach!!
