I didn't want to knock you off your 6 star rating. I saw the star gone. I would have rather commented in a message. But it is a blind contest entry. So I'm putting four stars. Yes your right the women are treated like dogs, less than even. But some are not and I would never want to have words said that would make them feel hurt. It has be banned in many Countries so many regard it as negative attitre. Oh and it's BURQA

Thank you Vanna for you honest review. We live in a country in which we all have the right to free speech, and that speech while offensive to some, may at the same time be affirming to others. For example, I received a six star review and rating from another female poet, which totally contradicts yours, and that's alright - I take both your reviews seriously because I respect you both as people with differing opinions. However, I am personally offended by the fact that women in the Middle East are treated like chattel, and to me the burka that many are forced to wear epitomizes the suppression of women in that culture. I chose mini bikini to juxtapose with the burka because I think a woman walking around in a bikini in that culture would not only offend many but might be jailed or killed for doing so. My little poem might offend some in that culture as well, to the point that I would be treated likewise. That's why I'm not angry at all that you as a female were able to freely criticise me as a male in our culture, that is in fact why I love our wonderful County so much; we are both free to have our own opinions, and can agree to disagree without having to worry about being jailed or killed because we dared to speak up and express our own views, on any matter. So do I miss open communication and smiles. Will we ever go back to maskless faces. I yearn for those days. I wouldn't be surprise if they come up with a disease that developed from wearing the masks

Blessings Mary and thank you so much for the six star rating. You're right, I can hear the TV Lawyers now, If you wore such and such a mask, you may now have cancer because of the materials used in manufacturing! Another case of the cure is worse than the disease. LOL! We live in a wacky word for sure.

Blessings Dolly and thank you for your excellent review and rating. I just thought the two were a contradiction in terms, Mini bikinis and burkas. These are so contrary one from the other speaking in cultural and social terms, and yet we subjected to them both at the cost of of everyday smiles and human interaction. So sad!
