A lovely offering for the Fourth of July, dear Susan. I don't think I've ever appreciated our freedoms and constitutional rights more than I do now. A new poetry style to me and always so expertly done.

This well-constructed Ottava Rima about an eagle in flight is timely for the Fourth of July, as the soaring eagle symbolizes the beauty of freedom, which is the primary benefit of America's founding principles.

I like this poem. There is something very calming about it. The words were chosen very carefully, I can see that clearly. There was a lot of thought that went into this poem. I like this style, Ovatta Rime. I'm going to have to give it a try. Well done. -January L. :)

This is very good. I like the picture you painted with your poetry and I enjoyed reading different and new styles, especially those that flawlessly carry a theme from beginning to end. I was almost like flying.
