This is a great poem. The last line was quite surprising but I can understand the feeling there. The only thing I noticed was in the third stanza where I think you used an extra word. "And tell her she has what it takes to strong." I could be wrong but it didn't sound right to me so I thought I'd point it out. Again, great job and I wish you luck in the contest!

What a beautifully written poem. It's so warm, heartfelt very relatable. A lot of great self-talk. Encouraging yourself to continue on despite the heartache, the pain. Your last line took me by complete surprise, lol. I do wish I had a six to give, but I'm all out.

Oh I had one thing I had to change, it would be changing the background color and possibly the font size and color as well;-) It's screaming for a warmer color, more inviting and cheery colors;-)
