Is it icing on the cake for tourists, or do the Japanese experience the same sense of wonder?

This is a beautiful haiku for spring, Gypsy. I love the 'icing on the cake' line. I can just see it. Everything works together for this one--the color scheme, the image, your words, the satori, and the message. Thanks for sharing.

I liked the analogy of "icing on the cake" and the "peach" color of the text and in the matching picture for this 3-7-5 haiku. Thanks for transporting us to Mount Fuji- Joan

Lovely picture - and I like your final "icing on the cake." That puts the picture of the famous mountain into a fanciful imagination of a lovely cake, iced by the peach sunset colors. Nice!

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and beautiful but chilly-looking; we have several mountains around here that you can say the same thing about, nothing quite as beautiful

I absolute love this! Icing on the cake. How beautiful. I have always admired the beauty of Mount Fuji. Very distinctive- yet delicate. By the way- is the title Pink Sunset or Peach Sunset?

    The title is peach sunset. It was pink for a minute but I changed it right away, you must had been the first one.
