This poem is rhyme well and flows smoothly. It seems to say that in life you may think we are wise but we really aren't. True wisdom comes with faith at the pearly gate.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

I feel like every poem you write is a lesson God has for me. I, too, tend to dwell in memories. Maybe it's a safety net in these trying times. Great job. Have a wonderful week. Gretchen

Good Morning, Roy!
A very thoughtful offering.
The second stanza resonates deeply with me, for I, too, have many things I do not know...Yet, that is what makes life so interesting and rewarding... at least in my mind...
Thank you for sharing!

The mystery of how we keep our Faith through years of knowing and not knowing is hard to fathom. It is so rooted in our minds there is no doubt.
The wonder is of the things we will finally see and know that we have no inclination of here in this world. Our expectations are high. Your musings in this well-penned poem provoke one's thoughts. A profound sharing, thank you. :)Ralf

I liked the double rhyme and different meanings of well
in-just as well and from this well. This is what I call a thought provoking poem Roy, because, unlike you, I'm not sure, but I'm often confused lol Enjoyed the read,
cheers,
valda

Hello Roy,
Nice piece of General Poetry having impressive wording, smooth flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting its theme.
The last stanza is particularly noteworthy.

you are a master at rhyming formal versification my friend. I always learn something from reading your verses, you make it seem so easy but alas I know it is difficult to get the words, the rhymes and rhytim to all come together

Our minds can only hold so much, we are human, not God. God is Everything, we are mere children. I think we will understand a bit more when He calls us home, but it will take time to understand fully. It's an exciting thought, isn't it? I love your poem, my friend. Well done. :)) Sandra xx

Roy, you've done it again! Excellent poem and it flows to perfection;-)
One minor gremlin issue in your Author's notes:
("seem too mysterious, donĂ¢??t fall into Human understanding.")
Remove the a with the hat on it and the two question marks in the word "don't" between the "n" and the "t"! When this happens to me if I highlight the entire line and just type over it, it removes the gremlins every time;-)
I appreciate your sharing and many blessings to you and your family;-)
