Being a good critic is a tough role because we don't want to hurt the writer but help them and this is why it is such a big responsibility, often people are very sensitive about their creations, wise words here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I think it's best to see our babies as they really are. It's not good to raise them to believe they are better than they actually are, and grow up to be arrogant, unlikable snobs.

This 2-5-2, Our Hero, has the right set up and places the critic inn the finest light. The idea of mentor status for critics has to b3 placed on a sliding scale for qualification.

I guess I get what you are trying to pay and honest criticism is good but not all criticism is good or honest. That's why I wouldn't agree with critics are the heros of artists.
