This thirty-syllable poem, Oops!, has the proper syllable count and takes issue with the meteorologists who now have millions of dollars worth of equipment backing up the wrong forecast.

Thanks for your review. You'd think with all that they'd be a little more accurate!!

I like your red color for this cartoon verse. POTUS used a Sharpie to define his (hurricane) weather. Unfortunately (IMHO), we did not kick him out the front door for his crazy prediction.

Good luck in the voting.

Hello, anonymous,

Great entry for the 30 Syllables writing prompt contest. Good syllable count but the connection between lines doesn't flow.. it's kind of funny.

Lol. Very cute. I'm sure that the weather guy gets lots unfriendly mail. I enjoyed your rhyming story and complaint about the poor weather forecasting. I might suggest even "Out the front door" to show he's being booted out. Best wishes in the contest!

The weathermen don't always get it right! But they are getting much better at predicting and forecasting and we always need someone to blame for rain, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Wickedly clever--a real treat. You may get a prize with this wit and whimsy. It's disappointing indeed when a sunny day turns out the reverse. Cheers. LIZ

You have made excellent use of your thirty syllables in this amusing, descriptive poem about one of the most maligned people, of who are NOT criminals.

Funny how they are just SO SURE what the weather will be 20+ years from now but they just cannot seem to get it straight one day or one week from now... not even close!! :) :) This is a great offering for the contest - best of luck at the polls! ;)
