Thank you so much, Pat, for this wonderful tip. I so agree with you. Like you, I belong to the older generation (79) and, as I have noticed, many of our peers on FanStory are older. It is a pleasure to see that also the young are writing and learning to write poetry. I will certainly support them.

I think we all owe it to the future of the art and FanStory to offer young writers in particular explicit constructive criticism of their work. True, it takes time, true it's hard work, true it's often poorly recognised, but we owe it to them to transmit what all our mentors gave to us at our beginnings. Such help can only promote skills and heap credit on our world.
