WOW, Co-Author! I am speechless (and, as you know, I'm not quiet all that often). YOU are the AWESOME one, so the shiny six stars, "SALUTES" and "TOOT TOOT!" are all because of you. As for the "ILLLYC" and XOX, well, I'm gonna keep those close to my heart forever! "YOU BETCHA! Now, let's finish up on our last three chapters and get our first co-authored book published next month! HURRAH!

Aw, Cathy, twins! I always wanted twins, they are such fun. Mine were just under three years apart, but just as much fun. Now we have to help this little girl come through, she can't die! The girl keeps an eye on the boy, so she has to live. And poor Cathy, worried out of her mind. I hope everything is alright. Well done, my friend, another excellent chapter. :)) Sandra xx

I enjoyed reading this chapter. It is a lovely dip into history at a human level. I struggled a little with the transitions between the two people, as they happened quite quickly. I was just settling in to being with one person and it jumped to the next. If this is the cadence of the book to keep the pace, I am sure it is a pattern that makes sense. I haven't read the previous chapters at this point, but will try to get a sense of the larger story to see who your target audience is. Thank you for sharing. I wish you all the best with getting this published.

Well, I almost passed up the chance to read your chapter since I've already missed the first 29, and it isn't likely I could ever read enough to catch up. But, I'm sure glad I didn't. An old Kentucky farm boy, I had to laugh when you informed readers about Smoky Mountain talk and punctuation. Heck, that's the way I talk anyway. Then, you mentioned Pigeon Forge and my mind snapped back to sitting beside Esco Hankins record shop, listening to a bluegrass band, watching the cloggers in the parking lot, and the older, tall gentleman in white pants and shoes, red shirt, and white-neck scarf, as his legs kicked higher and higher, clicking and clacking in rhythm with the song. Five good ol' mountain boys sat against the wall, bibbed overalls, no shoes, and gray beards to their waists, playing along with French harps, or harmonicas, or whatever they call them these days. Sorry, I didn't mean to write you a novella. Yours and Bill's descriptive writing just took me back home for a bit. Great job, and thanks for sharing. I wish I had a six.

What heroic characters are Grandma and Grandpa. The arrival of twins is certainly upping the excitement level - and in the backseat of a car. One thought is it is good dialogue but should you add in a bit of the senses - it is winter, probably a bit cold - is there snow?
