Specifically and well written for a very upsetting moment in which You are tired up in a life's turmoil without exit where You lose precious time and money. Repairing means a waste of time to buy a brand new product means income for the seller. This happens in every part of the world. Iza buy that necessary fronts for your eyes. I have had four eye sight operations so I well know what You mean.Your writing was so fluently that I read it fastly and following You as You spoke. I liked it very much indeed!

You really hit on another aspect of stress in your coronavirus tales in this chapter; tech illiteracy. For lots of people in the older generations, me included, tech can be so frustrating. Its great when it works, but when it doesn't work, its a nightmare. You describe these runarounds with coworkers, the frustrations with logic functions, that bedevil the computer illiterate with plenty of personality as always. Always a fun and eye brow raising read. estory

lol. Oh, Iza! This is so crazy. They won't fix it because it's YOURS but you're supposed to use it to work for THEM? That's just nuts...

Couple of things that will make this 'spot on'. :)

When at the end of March the offer to work from home come across the organization, nobody asked us if we are prepared for that transition. >>
When, at the end of March, the offer to work from home came across the organization, nobody asked us if we were prepared for that transition. (That sounds about right...)

Hi Deb, thanks for the corrections, your comments made me laugh. I do have one question: is this a fiction or a non-fiction, I didn't get the memo:)

This is, as you say, a set of conditions that many of us had to deal with this spring. We were asked to work from home in emergency because of lockdown, so no time to kit us out with professional equipment. You describe your personal troubles with this situation vivdly with clear attention to detail. Good luck in the contest.

I like the big font so hooray for you! It sounds like a frustrating thing having to troubleshoot hardware for while you're working at home. Hope this new one works out and that you can get the right font size. Typically, you can change it on Windows by Settings, System, Display, Display Resolution. See:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027860/windows-10-view-display-settings

Didn't understand:
"when my husband IT Team was laid off."
Was your husband the IT Team and you laid him off?
Or - your husband's IT team was laid off?

"but when May come" (came)

"this image come up only in the remote section." (comes)

"official appointment with specail escort " (special)

"on my coworker shoulder" (coworker's)

"Thanks God" (Thank God)

Hi--Iza,
Great story. Great attitude.
A very funny story about frustration at the hands of an all-too-familiar conspiracy of secrecy & control in the vast and wonderful world of computer technology!

Spelling: waiver, not waver. Special, not specail.
Double check your verbs to make sure they're not going back & forth from past tense to present tense in the same sentence.
Very funny story. Very funny liiustration.
The expression is: I can't do shit, NOT I can do shit,

This is an interesting story. I can see the effort put forth, but there are too many gramatical errors to mention. This needs a great deal of editing. I pray that you can find someone to help you with this story.

(husband s/b husband's IT team; specail s/b special escort; waver s/b waiver; can do s/b can't do shit; coworker s/b coworker's shoulder; writing in blind (omit IN)) This is wickedly clever! Personification of laptops is delightful. My sympathies for your frustration. Cheers. LIZ
