Once again I have learnt something new. I am always impressed by the knowledge you have shown me with your animal alphabet. Great work as always. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for so many fascinating facts about lemurs. And how sad that there are now more in captivity than in the wild. I don't suppose that will ever change. Stay safe. Judy

Thank you so much Judy. I was shocked to see how many had disappeared from the wild in so short a time. It's criminal! :( Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you so very much for the six stars, Linda, and another of your fabulous reviews. It does take time, but I'm learning so much by doing so, and then I have to choose what bits to put into fun facts. I told Graham what you said about the Orca whales, and he agreed with you. I am now going to find a video of them talking. :)) No, Eric doesn't know I'm doing this yet. I want to give him the finished book and then sit down with him and see how much he can read. I know it will be a hard one, but he is learning so much now he's in the right school, I think he'll manage to read most of it before too long. The words that still jiggle about, he can pick up whenever.

I hope you are all doing well, and you have nearly finished your house cleaning. LOL I read your email, (I'll reply later) you have been busy!

Sending you loads of love, my dear friend and a huge hug. :)) Sandra xxxx

your sooooo very welcome you...I have always loved Orca whales...you really should hear them...they sounds the same...I am getting a lot done...but I really needed to...still have a lot to go...outside again tomorrow...I just finish my porcelain floors today...took me three days...but I moved all the furniture...OUCH...have to rest my neck a few days...but I can go spray beer and coke on the grass tomorrow...all the birds and rabbits will be drunk...and vinegar is good for weeds...kills them...

Eric will be so surprised...I think he will be able to read the poem part...or enough to understand...but maybe not all the description...but that is what grandma is for...
I am doing well...and hope you and Graham are as well...not sure if it's old age...or I'm just working to hard...but I find myself napping in the afternoon...LOL...you both take care...sending loads of love back to you as well my beautiful friend...bigger hugs back at you...and lots of smiles...love xxoo

I am confused. Even if this is read to a child it's way to complicated for a young mind to comprehend. I have a dyslexic grandson and this would not have appealed to him as he learned to read. Maybe he would have made it through the opening poem. On the praise side. You have gathered together so much interesting information about an animal I knew nothing about. I think older children would enjoy the information and enjoy quoting facts back to parents and friends. I hope the photos and drawings of the lemurs are part of your alphabet book - they add to the information.

Thank you so much for the three stars, that was so kind of you. My grandson is 12 years old, and although I'm doing this for him, it's for people of all ages. The mistake some people make is in treating dyslexic people, regardless of age, as if they are stupid when they are not. I see you are new here, so you wouldn't know about my other children's books. Years ago I wrote another ACB book similar to this but without the factual parts and with an easier poem. I write for all ages and levels.

I appreciate your clarification - it does make the excerpt more understandable.

Well, I certainly learned a lot about lemurs! My 7-year-old grandson considers himself "an animal expert," and I know he'd enjoy this chapter.
Are you going to use the photos here in your book? I'd love to see a picture of the Aye-Aye-Lemur with his "rodent-like teeth that never stop growing." How long do these teeth actually get? You've got a wonderful book growing. Keep going!

Hi Melissa, thank you so much for your lovely review, I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about the lemurs. I couldn't find a picture with the Aye-Aye lemurs teeth,.I get all my pictures from Pixabay.com which is a site that allows you to use their work free for private and commercial work. It's brilliant, but sometimes I can't find that special one that would be perfect. Thank you again, my friend. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

I loved this new addition to your wonderful book. Singing Lemurs? Wow. Every animal you feature makes me feel more humble as a human being. The facts and information leave me wondering if we are arrogant to think we are a superior specious!
Another wonderful addition. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much, Alexis, what a lovely review. I'm afraid we are far from being the superior species. We seem to be regressing. Thank you, my friend, for the six stars, I really appreciated that. Sending you a hug! :)) Sandra xx

I really, really like the beginning line - it could be the start of a novel ... "They live wild in Madagascar "... I did not know they could "purr". Your notes are interesting. I wonder if the six fingered lemur was hunted and killed due to the belief it was evil (how sad).

Thank you, Margaret. From what I discovered about these animals, I think I could write a story about them. Something like 'Lion King' from the lemurs point of view. :)) Thank you for reading about them, my friend, and the lovely review. I knew nothing until I was looking for a good animal to include in this book, there is so much more that is interesting about them. Thanks, my friend. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

Again, I enjoyed the next letter. are you planning to complete the alphabet in time to enter it in the children's book contest? I have one, but illustrations are not complete. A lot of effort goes into this process.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for your continued support of my ABC book and your kind review. I'm glad you liked reading about the Lemur. They are fun, aren't they? :)) Sandra. xx

I didn't know about the children's book contest. What age group is the contest for? With the research, and then the picking out the best parts to put in that children will enjoy, takes me ages, and this is the 12th letter of the alphabet, I've 14 more to do. Thank you for mentioning it, but if it's imminent I doubt I'll get it finished in time. :(
