Beautiful entry for the Four Line Poem contest. I will be looking for it in the voting booth. It flows very well. Children know the truth about races...we are all the same, as long as they are not trained to hate. The presentation is lovely. Well done my friend.

This is only 3 lines, so this can not win a 4 line poetry contest. I do like the words, but you need a 4th line. I would change my rating if it were fixed to fit the prompt.

Please read again, there are four lines and always has been "when" 1-"Darkness surrounds us"-2-"just one ray of light"-3" can illuminate a world of hearts" 4- honestly !!!

An inspiring story you wrote about in your verse and author's notes.
Underlying the (racist) problem with skin color or religion, under all of this we share the same beating hearts and red blood. In a war zone, no one would question the source of the possible life-saving blood donation during an operation.

Really inspirational! Children are burn without any iota of sense of discrimination. It is usually the society and family that educate the children to learn otherwise.

Loved your poem and the picture to illustrate it! The world seems like such a dark place. But if we can see a "ray of light" in the open, non-judgmental love of kids, there is hope.
