Very nicely expressed poetry here again Linda. I like the first lines the best:
"listen carefully and hear tiny bells
playing delicate lullabies delicate lullabies
down in the dell
as they sway in the breeze
like small waves on the seas"
Bravo my friend. : ) Bob

Oh yeah, I think you captured the scene of a glad of flowers drinking up the sun perfectly. In this troubled world it is easy to forget the great beauty and peace the world has built into it. For that we have to see nature as it is.
Well done.

Comment from Gloria ....
Linda such a beautiful poem about a lovely flower. I always remember fondly coming across valleys filled with wild bluebells and utterly enthralled with their delicate beauty that almost seemed overwhelmed with all the greenery, but their brilliance shone through as your poem has so eloquently stated.
A lovely poem and many thanks for sharing today. :)

A pleasing and appropriate picture heads a nature poem. An easy read and not too long. Nice rhyming scheme with words like, sky & sigh, and night and delight. A nice enjoyable poem. ~Mel~

This was a very nice tribute to the bluebell. The picture you chose to accompany the poem is awesome. Your poem rhymed, made sense, and made me think of a flower I never see. Very good job.

Truly beautiful poem, Linda. Your words play on multiple senses, rather than setting just a visual scene and your chosen artwork is a perfect illustration to compliment the poem.

This poem, The Ballad of the Bluebells, finds the flowers and feels the bell quality ringing out as the merry plants remind us that life is a beautiful thing.
