It is poems like this that helps to keep the truth alive. This is beautifully presented and a joy to read. It is also good to know that there are other believers who are willing and well able (as yourself) to speak out with a God-given talent. Loren

You wrote in this poem all the truths that some refuse to accept. We have been blessed with so many good things in our lives and yet there is doubt and sometimes hate in so many souls. Your well-composed words have found a place in my heart. Thank you for sharing your benevolent Peace.

This poem, The Peace of Jesus, has us look back to the world that was plunged into hatred with man's ouster from Eden, then redeemed by divine grace. Good to note in these times.

Yes this is the problem of this age; everyone thinks of himself as a god and we are not humble. We need humility. Jesus asked the Father to forgive those who crucified him. If we take the path of vengeance, blood will beget blood. It is an ugly world now. estory

Beautifully written. Great rhythm and each stanza flowed into the next one. I loved the soft tone of the piece. Great job. I'm sure they will love this. Have a great weekend. Gretchen

Mike I think you've written an excellent poem. I had a difficult time with one passage, but it may be my iPhone. (I've had a little trouble with it lately). Maybe something like: He gave us His peace--a loving peace--the most serene and enduring of all His realm.
Excellent poem, Mike.
Good luck in the contest.

I think this is a pretty comprehensive work Mike, everyone has his own style, and you've got yours, it's always best to read what is communicated from the Spirit, in tune with you and God. As the gospels were the personal revelation of Christ's life, well done Mike, blessings, Roy

A very well-written poem about the peace of Jesus within us where no outside unrest and chaos can reach us. It is hard to believe but it is true, when you see all people around us panic but you feel calm inside despite the threats we know are there.

What a marvelous piece of work!
I noticed a few typos:
spouting they're (their) hated for any color besides their's (theirs)
a loving peace not has (as) the world provides it

I had a necklace like that when I was young. I think I gave it to my daughter-in-law. Her parents never went to church. She was a sweetheart. Her name was Rose. Well done, Mike. Nancy:)
