What a fantastic episode. I don't think anyone can describe action scenes as well as you can Shana. This is a new one altogether, I think you may have mentioned Jimmy Fratianno before, but not as a werewolf. Manuel is right, there has to be two disturbing creatures, as destructive as one another. You are so good at these werewolf, I don't think anyone writes as skilfully as you. Well, not in recent memory, well done, dear girl, blessing on you, Roy

Thanks so much Roy! :)
Wow... this is really motivating. In the beginning, action scenes were my hardest to write. That's one of the reasons I left a lot of fight scenes out. I just didn't know how to write them. I could picture them in my head, but writing it was difficult. With practice, it's come easier. Glad you enjoyed.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

Exciting chapter, Ms Shana! I didn't expect the last part as I started to read about the guy in custody. So now we have a whole police department seeing the supernatural wolf unfold before their eyes. Sounds like the detective has his hands full. Hopefully he will ask the Breedline for help. Super writing!

Thanks Nate :)
So good to hear you thought the chapter was exciting. I love to hear that! I've come a long way with writing scenes like this. It gets better with practice.
Thanks again!

Shana :)

Man this book is better by the minute, the action picks up the path and it makes you wonder what is next:"
Did it really matter? he thought. Whatever Jimmy Fratianno was, the son of a bitch somehow survived a bullet to the head, not to mention the one that hit him square in the heart. The question weighed heavily on his mind. Did Jimmy's transformation have anything to do with the creature they were after? It couldn't be the same creature, Manuel figured. Jimmy Fratianno had been behind bars during all the recent attacks. It was bad enough having to deal with one freak of nature. Now there were two? Shit!"
Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Good, thriller-like re-write of this chapter in the Breed-line series. I have been reading it through very carefully, and cannot find errors, or comments to improve the text.
Good work!

I appreciate your kind words. I have come a long way with writing action scenes. In the beginning, it was difficult to put down in writing. With practice, I believe we always improve at anything we do.
Thanks again & be safe!

What a whirlwind of a chapter. You had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I'm so glad the only injury was a flesh wound. I had to chuckle at the partner's response. It seems they now have a bigger problem on their hands. This chapter is very well-written, suspenseful start to finish. I look forward to reading more.

So thrilled you approve. In the beginning of my writing, action and battle scenes were difficult for me. As time goes by, and more Breedline adventures are created, it gets easier.
Glad you liked the detective's part. Those two are fun to write about. They're close to my age, and I know how it feels to get older. LOL!
Thanks again!

Shana :)

Don't we all, lol. I've been denying getting old, despite all the calls I get for walk-in tubs, life-alert systems etc... Then I did research and found out that senior living starts at 55 and I'll be 55 this year.

Oh my... I'm not far behind you. :) I wish there was a pill to make us younger. LOL!

Wouldn't that be nice.

Really like the way you keep the story moving with both your dialogue and in your action. One line leads right into the next, which draws one deeper and deeper into the story. Good job.

I try to keep each chapter with some sort of action or romance. I love to read a book that keeps my interest. I'm shooting to keep my series like this, although at times it's tough. But in the end, hearing reviews like yours makes all the hard work pay off. I appreciate you!
Thanks again & stay safe!

Shana :)

An action-packed chapter. It was quite a surprise when Jimmy converted to the Werewolf. You did an excellent job and I didn't see any errors. Have a great day. Shirley

Your review is so motivating. I love to hear readers mention action-packed. In the beginning of my series, action and battle scenes were difficult for me to write. Over the years, and with practice, I feel like I've come a long way. Practice makes better, right?
