You take me back to when I was young, in Minnesota, and always felt safe, and admired police officers.
The solid Blue Line, we always knew it was there.
Using the indefensible death of a young black man, as an opportunity for exploitation, national and international, is a diversion allowing Antifa and other hate groups to try to divide the country.
The Threat: With the rise of global actors declaring statehood, the place branding competition has expanded beyond internationally recognized cities and nations. ISIS and al-Qaeda insist the establishment of the Caliphate defined both as a place and identity is paramount to reuniting Muslims under a supranational Islamic government. This study explores how each group presents the Caliphate as a place brand and identity construct in the online environment.
Seattle Washington
A new opportunity has arisen for many criminal organizations to create a modern day Califate.
With a six block area of Seattle Washington blocked off from any legal authorities, the pot is starting to boil. With no charismatic leader the wannabe Alpha dogs will start fighting each other for control.
President Trump will seek to legally certify Antifa as a terrorist organization.
Some Congress members will claim that only Congress can make that decision by voting.
President Trump will say, "Okay vote."
That will pose a problem for many in Congress, because they know they will be voted out of office if they vote against the bill to define Antifa as a terrorist organization.
They will all suffer without organized police organizations. Cities will try to provide volunteers to police or hire private security. Wrong. That will fail.
Thank for all your service on the front lines. I do not know what we will do without you, but we know we had the best, and now they seek to kill the Golden Goose. A pox on them and theirs.

I agree with you 100%. Most officers do a good job and I think the problem is the public perception being fueled by the liberal media in an attempt to create controversy and drum up interest in their business models, as well as sweep away conservatives for their progressive agenda. A world without police? Crazy. I'm actually not supporting networks like abc or nbc anymore. It's just the world according to Disney or Amazon. estory

This is an awesome tribute prayer to our law enforcers across the nation. They are out there every day trying to protect and serve. Sure once in a white there is a bad apple in every group. You are so right about listening to the hate mongers who are out to destroy America. We are in danger of losing our freedom. Good job, Willie. Nancy

I would give you a six if I had one for your poem and your author's notes. I can't believe they want to defund you! I has to be a political thing to get them into power. It's started here in England, and honestly, I just don't know where it will end. There should be equality between all races, black, white, red and yellow. I personally think that all racist police should be weeded out, if any show signs of racism towards any culture, they should be fired. We've just had one lunatic policeman here in England, stop a car driven by a black man travelling with his wife. He had done nothing wrong, so why on earth did he pull this couple over. He was filmed by people nearby, and the police have put out an apology. That policeman should be sacked. To have done that when there is this protest is going on, blows my mind, honestly it does. Okay, that's my rant for today. I'm just glad I'm an elderly lady and won't be around to see this world implode. Well done! :)) Sandra xx

I read this piece with compassion and the picture is an amazing accompaniment. I, too, believe Justice must be served with regard to the officers charged in the Floyd case - no matter the justification - it was WRONG. However, they did not act in a manner that speaks for police officers in general. Getting rid of police departments is absurd. Someone really needs to take charge in America today. Personally, I believe the revolution involves the perceived "haves" and "have nots." The problem is we don't have a faith-filled, charismatic, well-spoken leader like MLK in our country today - but if we do - I pray they speak up soon.

I agree with you one hundred per cent.i thank God that the police risk thier lives each day to protect us.yes, thier are bad apples who will do heinous things in the department. But thier are good, decent ones as well. Where would we turn to for help if not for them.
